Outreach Social Work
Our outreach social work covers the entire Bratislava area. We go directly into the environments of the people who need us – on the streets, into inadequate housing, or to places where families face difficult social situations.
Our work focuses on providing guidance and hands-on support.
We assist with communicating at authorities, job searching, handling personal bankruptcy, arranging medical care, and placing children in schools or kindergartens. An essential part of our work is building a trusting relationship, which allows us to guide clients through difficult life situations.
Our main areas of activity are:
📍 Župné námestie – our “base,” where we provide scheduled counseling every Monday and Friday. On Wednesdays, we are available all day without an appointment.
📍 Stará Vajnorská – a location on the outskirts of Bratislava where we work with individuals and families living in inadequate conditions. Among other things, we support them in finding more dignified housing and stability.
As part of crisis intervention, we respond to sudden deteriorations in emotional, social, or existential situations. Respect, professionalism, and a non-judgmental approach are essential to us, allowing people to turn to us even in the most difficult moments.
Our goal is not just to “solve problems,” but to be close – with both expertise and humanity.
